Back In The Saddle Again

No AC/DC lyrics, but I am back to full the full swing of things. I rode my road bike outside for the first time in I can't remember how long today. I have been doing many days on the rollers, but getting outside was a real treat. I took K on the Lackey Loop, and then came home to ride...you guessed it, more rollers. However, I just received my new rollers from CycleOps so riding indoors is going to be a little better, with the choice of having my gentiles fall asleep, or having my mind fall asleep. Stay tuned:

K and I are hosting Thanksgiving for both of our families and the Prozenbergers. We are really excited, which has sent us hustling around the house in order to reduce the entropy that the animals have brought us. If we could just limit Parker to a 1'x1' area in the house, things would work out fine. Thomas has made his way north with Lesley for Turkey day, so Chief won't be able to help us cut the bird, but we do have little Scout!

So, in previous days, I lifted, took a few days to relax before slugging out base miles in the frigid Midwest; on another note, Tyrone Jerome got his acceptance letter to ASU...that jerk will be riding in 70 degree weather in no time. Teej - if I come up with 3 bills for a plane ticket, and a little extra scratch to hang with you for a few days, I will be there.

People are still racing cross for some ungodly reason. Cross racing hurts. Micah and Josh, how did you ever pick that as your scope? I would probaly do more racing, but the issue of traveling at the moment is not very attractive. I suspect next season when I live in STL, I will not have the same excuse.
