Recover from Tulsa Sooner

Yeah, the weekend has me bogged down a bit. It would be different if I didn't have to come back to work and school right away. That's ok, I was looking for a recovery week anyway.

Quick Summary:
Friday, traveled down to stay with Doug and Amber...thanks guys. You are wonderful hosts.
Start List: Myself, Doug, Chad Cagle, Steve Cate, Matt Ankney, Stefan Rothe, Java, and Brice Jones.
Saturday: Woke up early and rolled to Tulsa. Rode for 6 hrs, 110 miles, 3900 kj=ouch. Tulsa is much different than I thought it would be. Quite rolly and painful. The wind was certainly a factor that I had already thought about.
Saturday Night: The Cagels and Matt Ankney hosted the camp; Chad and his wife Jen had everyone over for dinner that evening. All of the wives were having their training camp too, and cooked a fabulous meal. After dinner, we all headed downtown to check out the Tulsa Night life. Everyone made it to the last stage, except Java and Ankney: Matt was sick, and Java is just a wuss.
Sunday: Start list was the same as above, minus Ankney, plus Fiddler, this Trek VW pro, and uncle pain. Similar route, this time a hair more rolly. Something was way different though. Rode for 5 hrs, 110 miles, and 3800kj (I sat in for the second half of the ride, for fear of exploding). There was little wind today, but the amped up pace sure made it a tough ride.

Amber was kind enough to drive back to SpringPatch, then we had dinner at the Mud House downtown and rolled back to BoCoMO.

Thank you to everyone who helped/hosted this weekend. Cagles, you guys are great. Greeks, you already know what I think about you, but thank you again. BTW, the cake was fabulous. It was great riding with everyone, and I look forward to the camp in Feb.
